Food Pantry

CMR’s food pantry was started in 2009 by our Key Club when they realized there was a need to help their fellow classmates who were in need of food and personal hygiene products.  The food pantry grew each year and is now run by a group of parent volunteers who coordinate donations and disbursement of food to students/families in need.

Students are able to get breakfast items in the morning or snacks after school by contacting their counselor or administrator who will take them to the pantry.  In addition, there are boxes of food given twice a month to several families who need the extra help.

We are aware that hunger is a deterrent to the learning process and have made a commitment to helping our CMR family. If you are interested in donating to our food pantry, please contact your child’s counselor or the main office at CMR at 268-6100.  If your family needs some extra help please contact your child’s counselor. This is a confidential program.
